This page will list rental boats offered for Yngling World Championship 2026 as they become available.
Askøy yacht club plans to have five boats for rent. These are during winter 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 undergoing fix-up and improvements. Details on conditions presented at Worlds 2026 will be given when ready. The boats are old but fast hulls. They generally have the raised double floor set installed and John Mast v/2 masts. Keel is being covered in fiber reinforced resin and faired (ongoing).
Askøy Seilforening and International Yngling Association want to encourage overseas participation and will therefore use the following set up for these boats
- Boats reserved for non-European teams (intercontinental teams) up to January 1st. 2026.
- Reservations open also for South European and distant countries teams (Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Albania, Turkey, Bulgaria, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Serbia, Romania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Moldova, Ukraine, Faroe Island & Iceland) up to February 1st. 2026
- Reservations opens for remaining European countries, but excluding Norway up to March 1st. 2026
- From March 2nd – remaining unbooked boats for any teams.
We will also post privately offered rent boats here. Hein Ruyten in Netherlands may also have boats for sale or rental. Contact email for Askøy Seilforening, refer race to pages at Manage2Sail. We will offer a discount for youth teams on boat rentals.

Second series BorgeBringsværd(Drøbak, Norway) built boat, probably 1968 or 1969. Same series as NOR 261 who took 10th. at Yngling Worlds in Copenhagen 2023 and won the Norwegian nationals 2023.
